Friday’s Thoughts

  1. The 5in5 at danieljohnmusic.com is such a great challenge. I am honored to be connected to such amazing people….and reminded of Job’s response to God: Job 42:2-5 (NLT)
“I know that you can do anything,
and no one can stop you.
You asked, ‘Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance?’
It is I—and I was talking about things I knew nothing about,
things far too wonderful for me.
You said, ‘Listen and I will speak!
I have some questions for you,
    and you must answer them.’
I had only heard about you before,
but now I have seen you with my own eyes.
Thank you 5in5′ers for displaying Him.
  2. I watched the Dove Awards the other night and saw some great artists perform. One of which was Lacrae. It has been a long time since I enjoyed any Hip/Hop or Rap, considering how the lyrics are full of explicatives and such. I was thoroughly surprised by him, specifically his two songs Background and God is Enough. If you have kids who enjoy this style, consider Lacrae. I’m also currently listening to Kristian Stanfill and really like Always.
  3. Technology: (Yeah my posts will always include something about this) Uhm, so we can even make dumbells ‘smart’? Tweet_Fit
  4. How-to: For all you photographers out there, here is an idea:

  5. Lastly, a great look in the mirror: (follow the link to the podcast….totally worth it!)
